American Innovative Structures has also provided homeowners with steel buildings used as workshops, storage units, and garages. While our pre-built metal buildings are most seen in a commercial setting, we can also provide structures for personal use. A building of this type can achieve greater clearspans than pole barns, can be customized to meet the needs of the owner/site, and does not use trusses, resulting in a higher ceiling height inside, our sturdy buildings would be a perfect fit for a backyard shop.

Workshop $115,000, 2,700 square feet
This new construction building consists of 2,700 square feet of workshop and equipment storage using the typical metal building materials. The metal walls provide wind and element protection so that projects and equipment stay dry.
Equipment Storage $55,000, 1,350 square feet
This metal structure, which has an area of 1,350 square feet, was constructed for the purpose of housing equipment. It has been designed to withstand a snow load of 433 pounds per square foot because it is located in Sierraville, CA, which is situated at an altitude of over 7000 feet. This new building has been put up in place of an old one that was unable to sustain the heavy weight of snowfall and eventually collapsed.
Garage $33,000, 1,700 square feet
This 1,700-square-foot metal building is the perfect choice for a detached garage, providing optimal space for storing vehicles. The materials used for constructing the metal building are standard.
