Self Storage
Protect your storage space.
Another great application for steel buildings is for storage facilities. Storage facilities require guaranteed protection from outside elements including indoor climate control. In order to provide storage facility amenities, space is required. Standard system with multiple façade options, easily adapts to local jurisdiction requirements, easily customizable.
Metal buildings become a cost-effective and economical solution for any size storage facility.
AIS has worked on a variety of storage facilities in the Reno/Tahoe area.
Here are examples of our projects in the self storage.
Reno Self Storage $50,000, 12,642 square feet
This new construction self-storage complex has 27 various-sized units. Reno Self Storage is constructed of typical stud framing, and inclusive of architectural features to pass city requirements on aesthetics.
Emigrant Self Storage Fire Re-Build $96,000, 4,000 square feet
A retrofit to an existing self-storage complex due to fire damage. This 4,000-square-foot retrofit was completed to match the existing non-damaged portion of the building.
Superior Storage Rancho Cordova $55,000, 17,600 square feet
This project consisted only of standing seam roofing. The storage buildings were built as a hybrid of CMU walls with metal framing for the roof. AIS supplied roofing and trim materials to create a watertight system to protect people’s belongings. Hybrid construction was used because of strict architectural aesthetic requirements of city.
Spanish Springs Mini Storage $35,000, 960 square feet
Spanish Springs mini Storage building construction consisted of structural steel framing with metal building panels and trim materials. RVs that were parked in this lot were getting damaged by wind blown debris and people throwing rocks over the property wall. To protect RV storage stalls, these protective wind walls are a great solution for RV lots which provided protection against both issues.
